I would imagine that if somebody discovered a method of winning the lotto, then that person is going to be very rich! Why would they need to sell books?

Good point.

But if you'll look in any lotto magazine, or all over the Internet, there are people offering to tell you how to win the lottery for "only" $19.95! Seems like they don't really know what they are talking about if they need to sell books for a living. Why not just utilize their "winning method" and win some serious lotto cash!

This is the first book ever distributed for FREE that provides a guaranteed way to increase your chances to win the lotto. I don't expect to make money by selling this book! I expect to make money playing the lotto. And because I know I'm going to win lotto cash, based on the method in this book, I can afford to pay for the costs of telling YOU how to win.

This book was an educational endeavor for me. I did a lot of research. I used computers to do complex simulations. And after all this work, I found out that none of the methods offered today increase your chances to win lotto cash.

First, a couple of assumptions to get us started:

For all examples and demonstrations in this book, we'll be using the Texas Lotto. Every Wednesday and Saturday night, Texas hosts the pick-six lotto event. And every Wednesday and Saturday night, six little painted ping pong balls are shuttled out of a chute and rolled down a tube, providing the six winning numbers in that night's lotto event. There are over 18 billion possible ways for six balls to be drawn from 54 balls!

Let's hold a sample Texas lotto drawing, and list the balls in order drawn. The first set drawn is "10 2 23 14 45 16." Throwing those back in the tumbling bin, we pick another set, "14 23 2 10 16 45." So, we've recorded TWO of the possible 18 BILLION ways for 6 balls to be drawn from 54 balls. However, upon closer inspection, these two sets aren't as different as they appear.

Re-ordering each set of numbers so that they are shown sequentially from lowest to highest, they look like this:

10 2 23 14 45 16 becomes 2 10 14 16 23 45.
14 23 2 10 16 45 becomes 2 10 14 16 23 45.

Did you notice that they are comprised of the same numbers? Of course, the Texas Lotto doesn't require you pick the numbers IN ORDER DRAWN, so they consider these two sets of numbers equal. In order to get a more accurate view of our chances of winning the lotto jackpot, we must eliminate all sets of numbers that can be represented by one set of numbers. That leaves us with "only" 25,827,165 possible combinations of picks.

The first number, 18,595,558,800, to be exact, is called the permutations. The second number, and the one which Texas Lottery players concern themselves with twice a week, is called the combinations, and is exactly 25,827,165.

To bring this all together: twice each week, Texas produces one of over 18 billion permutations of six-from-fifty-four numbers, and you hope it's the one of over 25 million combinations that you've marked on your playslip. With odds like this, why bother? Actually, there's good reason: the chance to become a millionaire!

The odds of winning are extremely slim. In fact, you're likely to be struck by lightning twice before you win the lotto! But you're probably wondering, maybe even hopeful, that somehow you can increase those odds of winning. Maybe there is!
